Abstract

Given the electronic nature of society and rapid changes across scientific, social, and economic fields, it is essential to employ dynamic, active, and creative teaching methods to meet the needs of society and learners. Accordingly, this study investigates a creative and useful teaching method, with particular emphasis on the social sciences and humanities, considering the characteristics of the new generation of learners and the skills required in the 21st century, to provide a suitable context for effective education and high-quality learning. To achieve this goal, in addition to reviewing the existing resources in this field, a case-study approach was employed using diverse information sources, such as interviews with students, records of personal experiences, and evaluation documents from the teaching program of a sociology professor as the study sample. The study triangulates findings from multiple data sources. The results indicate that in this teaching method, the instructor uses a variety of methods, technologies, teaching techniques, and both theoretical and experiential activities to develop learners’ diverse skills and talents. The teacher creates an active and dynamic learning environment by presenting new and diverse materials and ideas, along with individual and group exercises, intellectual games, creative works, and field projects. These elements foster interest, creative thinking, and engagement in study and research among students. Additionally, evaluations from teachers and analyses of student interviews indicate that students are satisfied with the creative teaching method.
